Anyone else finding that it's getting like trying to read a local newspaper online?
It seems to have got much worse in the kast couple of months.

100%. Typing slowed right down. The page suddenly re-loads every time a new advert appears. Scrolling down often suddenly takes me back to the top of the page, or takes me to the adverts website!Anyone else finding that it's getting like trying to read a local newspaper online?

Maybe. But it’s only recently been this bad, and I haven’t changed any settings or anythingOn a serious note, being a patron doesn’t affect ads or the user experience at all.
Bozza specifically pointed out it’s an optional payment and does not affect the experience.
So there must be another reason you’re having trouble with ads etc?
Some people genuinely can’t.A fiver a month? Sure they can

People who use NSC? Who are paying money for internet access? Who find the ads irritating but don't have a fiver a month to bin them off? Do they not understand that the ads mean they can use NSC for free? Some people genuinely can’t.
