I do too, however I am unsure about my feelings about the song, do I simply love it as it is associated with our success?
This is better for after an epic win. Can you imagine it being played before a home league match against Bumley, or a League cup third round match against Bolton.

Hang on, that wouldn't happen. We never ever get to the third round of the league cup. Innit. :shootself

Many, many years ago I was at a non-league ground where at the end of the match the song "That's the way God planned it" by Billy Preston was played over the loud speakers. I seem to remember that the home team lost.

In tune - easy to follow, not many words; why doesn't it come out more often?

Do other clubs have it?

I think England have sun it in the past. Would love it if it made an appearance more often

I’m going to say this GOSBTS on Thursday was sung perfectly without the words on the big screen. Time to stop the tinpot cringe karaoke.
Kin ell, Amen to this brother. When I suggested this on here a couple of weeks ago you’d have thought I was plotting to shag a nun or something

No idea but it sounds pretty decent when they blast it out.

I'm not really one for organised songs but I think if GOSBT was proceeded by something easy to sing, like praise you it might encourage more to join in, also might wake the crowd up before the team comes out
Yeah me neither they create to much of a good atmosphere and can be intimidating for the opposition which can be very unfair

Ohh, yes, yes , yes. THIS.

I commented on this to my lad at the time, and had forgotten about it since - that was the BEST and loudest GOSBTS has been sung at the Amex in ages - with no ‘help’ from the screens.

Ditch fanzone and play some inspiring songs/tunes. Other clubs build up to the match is infinitely better than ours. Loved what Ajax did as an example.

There’s some lovely memories here

I thought this one sounded great at the home game v OM (and didn’t need any help with lyrics either)

We’ve got super Rob De Zerbi!
He knows exactly what we need!
Dunky at the back, Fergie in attack
We’re on our way to win the Europa League!

As for post match? GOSBTS sounded amazing - surely we have enough chants and songs to dispense with Desire? Maybe FBS could lay some ’singable’ lyrics over a version of Weapon of Choice? (Actually that might be good for after a goal)

After a match loss - I always thought Bob Grover/ Piranhas - Tom Hark would cheer us up …

There”s also
Pride of the South?
And it’s Brighton?

Whilst I agree, I'd also say that's because the big screen has finally done it's job.

Our fans never used to know the words, we made our own words up. Now we actually sing a legendary Sussex battle song in time and with the right words, and it sounds f**king brilliant.

I don't understand why Praise You is not sung and played a lot more often.

Especially when Sweet Caroline still seems to be on rotation. Hearing this after the Marseille win was a little irritating.
