It is absolutely shocking - gives me a headache just to look at it. How can you find anything?!

We have come back to secure 5 draws after going behind, but won 0 games after going behind (5 points recovered overall - ranked 7th in the league)
We have been pegged back to end up drawing from winning positions 5 times, but have not lost a game where we've been ahead (10 points lost overall - ranked 21st in the league)

This doesn't specifically measure points gained/lost in added time, but gives an overall impression of where we could improve...

I still can't forget that Bristol Rovers game at the Withdean in the 2010/11 title winning season. It was something like the 95th minute and ruined my accumulator which would have returned quite a decent amount. The Gas leaks went on to be relegated that season too. Football has no logic at all sometimes. Ever since I've always stuck to doubles or trebles on teams.

Goals in the 90th minute and beyond that have affected the outcome of a result, since Poyet took over (I think) -

09/10 season:

Bristol Rovers (h) +2
Stockport (a) +1
Exeter (a) +2

Leeds (a) - 2

10/11 season:

Oldham (h) +2
Exeter (a) +2
Carlisle (h) +2

Bournemouth (h) - 2
Bristol Rovers (h) - 2
Huddersfield (h) - 1 (although a dead-rubber game)

11/12 season:

Doncaster (h) + 2
Forest (h) + 2
Leicester (h) + 2
Leeds (a) + 2

Blackpool (h) - 2
Leeds (h) - 2
Forest (a) - 2

12/13 season:

Peterborough (h) +2

Bolton (h) -2
Wolves (a) - 2
Birmingham (a) - 2

Interesting that most of our late conceded goals have turned winning positions into draws, and most of the late goals we've scored have turned drawing positions into wins. Would go against the argument that Poyet happily settles for draws (if there is such an argument). Might also show that when we're drawing going into the 90th minute we seem to defend better, perhaps because we're pushing for a goal ourselves and therefore the defence doesn't come under as much pressure? Could also of course be because the opposition have more to lose when in a drawing position, so don't throw as many players forward searching for a goal.

Losing when drawing always feels worse than drawing when winning, even though you are only dropping one point instead of two.

True, that - I suppose it's the fact that you still got something from the game rather than nothing.

Updated table. First time since Stockport away in 09/10 that a 90th minute (and beyond) goal has earned us a draw. Every other late goal since then has been to win a match.

Updated - after last night, we have dropped 1 point this season from goals scored or conceded from the 85th minute till the end of the game.
