At the moment we look like a team that will go down - so on those grounds alone, OUT.

The problem - who to replace him with.

In having been at the game (not from the comfort of my front room like you)

To be honest mate you don't have to go to the games to have an opinion. The side is judged by results and the table does not lie. Judging by that you can see where the Adams out "Brigade" are comming from.

What i don't get is this.

If we lose a game, the Adams Out Poll will be like 30 in, 80 out

If we draw a game, the Adams Out Poll will be like 50 in 60 out.

How can a draw to Cheltenham change anybody's views?

I can see where they are coming from. However:

1) He is not going to be sacked after we fought back from 2-0 down today
2) He is not going to resign
3) He won't be sacked during the transfer window as we don't want to have to change our targets now
4) He has two and a half years left on his contract so won't be sacked

All this makes Vulture's thread about sacking Adams extremely tiresome. Especially as he always seems to set it up the minute after the final whistle, suggesting he does not go.

think he means people gen use the 100% rule as a guide and your using the i feel much better 110% rule, eg 80-30 and 60-50.

Anything on Tuesday is a bonus. A good performance against Hartlepool may save him.

still out for me.

Whilst Adams is not only to blame, lack of funds, poor coaching etc, it is he that choses the team and has wrecked our youth policy & brought lousy rejects into this club that have underperformed.

As I have said from his appointment - you never go back. He got lucky with Zamora last time round & probably one of our worst three managers in the last 40 years.

Nothing personal Mickey. And please make me eat my words.

EXACTLY what I was thinking! FFS, if we are now looking at salvaging a last gasp point away to a team as shite as Cheltenham as being a positive thing, then that should tell us everything we need to know about how far backwards Adams has taken us.

Me. I can't believe a change now would make a difference. We have limited funds, not great squad-depth and since staying up is our aim, think we just have to get behind them all now. Steve Gritt was in a similar position, and when everyone was emotional enough in 97, the team put together an astonishing set of results to stay up.

Eh? Surely the Sir Steve Gritt :)bowdown:) example is one FOR changing managers if there ever was one. Under Jimmy Case we were 13 points adrift, and if we'd decided to "keep the faith" with that former Brighton legend we'd have tumbled out of the league and probably out of business. We made the change, and our home form instantly turned around and kept us up.

I've seen everything now.

I suppose Peter Taylor 'got lucky' with Peter Ward in the 70's, Mullery the same with Lawrenson, Bazza Lloyd with Garry Nelson, Mike Small etc.

What you have said is an insult to the rest of the team such as FDM, Chippy, Cullip, Watson, Oatway, Brooker et al. We were never a one man team.

Jimmy Case was also deaf, fond of the sauce and had no management experience (and I don't know what qualificiations he had either). Not ideal qualities, and you have to question the idiot who appointed him
