I would prefer him gone but accept that he is going nowhere. I really wish we had employed a manager who would entertain us more. It must be fun being a Hartlepool fan at the moment they seem to play the game as it should be played, score more than they concede. I fully expected to lose tonight as Hartlepool have a manager who can change things around during the game and is light years ahead of Adams both tactically and motivationally. Real shame we haven't bothered to try for him since he was at Bristol City.

Why are you so obsessed by Danny Wilson. The man was shown up by McGhee (a manager who many on here, not including me, were calling to be sacked well before he was) in the play off final and out thought. Since he left Barnsley he has hardly done anything as a manager.

Simply because his teams entertain, sorry if you don't agree. McGhee (who I didn't want sacked either) was a better manager than Adams as well. I don't even care if we lose I just cannot stand the cluelessness that Adams is showing so far this season. I have never felt so disappointed in a manager at this club as I am in Adams, so far, this time around. Wood and Booker were stopgaps, the rest at least seemed to know what they were doing, even if they sometimes struggled.

But as it seems to be pissing you off and there's no mileage in it anyway, I shall not mention Danny Wilson again in this context

I'm still 100% IN.
How often are managers sacked too early without being given time to build their team. Adams needs time. He will get it right.

Ridiculous to even suggest yet once again that we sack Adams.

It's an almost daily thing on here and it's becoming very tedious. In fact, it is a daily thing and it's f***ing boring. There is nothing new being said-just the same old regurgitations.

Yes, we know you don't like him. Yes, we know you want him replaced. It isn't going to happen for the foreseeable future so give it a rest for a while. Please.

My hope is that we can all leave MA to get on with sorting out the team and hopefully achieve a play off place by the end of the season. My concern is that he will read this thread or somebody will tell him of it and he will think that he has lost the backing of the supporters and walk away leaving us with a Booker White team. My advice now would be to stop all this nonsense about whether he should be out or not and give him our support until such time as we are either safe from relegation and or in the play offs which ever happens this season or next.

These threads are UTTERLY POINTLESS. He's only been here since the start of the season, give him a break ffs. How can we build for the future if the management, and therefore team, is being chopped and changed every half a season. Grow up the lot of you.

Wise words indeed. And just in case you are reading this MA - it's only a small minority calling for your head so ignore them and get on with the job.

Can i just remind you that last time he was here and we all sang "you don't know what your doing' and 'Adams out' at him the team started winning, maybe he needs this!

Fortunately the poll seems to be marginally favouring support for Mr Adams at the moment.

I really don't believe shouting that turned it around - hard work and good management probably had more to do with it.

I'm sure if your manager stated shouting at you when you made mistakes it wouldn't have a very positive effect on your performance !

For reasons of pragmatism alone, IN. We can't afford to be paying for THREE managers at the same time. Every managerial mistake we make, cost money out of the playing budget = lesser players = more dross.

He deserves at least until the end of the season, but I for one am hugely dissilussioned by it all.

We are led to believe that Adams was brought in the boost gates. As things stand I for one, am not planning on renewing my three ST's. So thats working well, isn't it?

I'm rather disillusioned with everything as I thought we could improve on last season but this has been discussed to death.

I won't be calling for Micky Adams' head but I think this season is fast heading for a write-off.

If we go down, however, I think Adams should fall on his sword.

I'm going to place my trust in Knight and the board on this one. After all, they are the ones that have money invested in the club. Apart from my season ticket all I have invested in the club is my time and emotion.

He didn't have anything to sort out this time did he. But he's sorted it out nicely. We're f***ing shit now

He did, as he realised that the squad wasnt going to be good enough to overcome the new clubs into this division which was going to make it a lot tougher than last season.

He has made mistakes and I think that even he would put his hand up to that but he has also brought in some decent players in Thornton and Johnson.
