As we do not have the funds to pay top wages and pay a transfer fee for a centre forward we will either have to have a young Premiership forward on loan who has no experience or get someone whose career could do with a bit of a kick up the arse such as Proudlock

Players such as Proudlock can either see out their contracts in the reserves and end up in non league or take lower wages and ultimately have much longer careers at clubs such as ours

When we got Knight on loan from Chelsea he was fresh from a crap season at Shef Wed and we all thought Coppell did a great job resurrecting his career and getting him to perform well and have the best season of his career to date

Good management is all about getting performances out of people that others fail to get for whatever reason

McGhee can talk from bitter experience about believing your own publicity to players such as Proudlock re his own moves to Leicester and Wolves

I am sure Knight drives McGhee mad at times re his temprament but good management is all about getting the most out of what you have got

Something any manager of ours will always have to do a great deal of all the time we are at Withdean

At least Proudlock is a forward... cannot agree with MM playing Hinsh in midfield, and Virgo should move forward only at the end of any game we are chasing (every game, at the moment!)...

Well it seems that Virgo up front is not such a crap idea as some of the earlier replies to this thread after all!!!

Although I must admit I had forgotten about Hammond for centre midfield

Am looking forward to the Leicester game even more now
