This is great news all round and the bromance between these two can continue.
How many times have you seen a player with his arm around the manager in these contract signing photos?!

Sure, he probably will be injured again. But he has shown that if he's just available to help the boys in half of the games, it is worth it.I'm not totally convinced. Out for the rest of the season and you wouldn't be surprised when he comes back that he picks up another long term injury.
But it's not my money, so hope I am wrong.

He’s worth keeping if he never plays in a match again……..I reckon his next contract will be one on the coaching staff (with RdeZ at Chelsea, probably)Sure, he probably will be injured again. But he has shown that if he's just available to help the boys in half of the games, it is worth it.
Grow out his beard, shave his head and paint a mural?Cracking news, so influential both on and off the pitch. Really hope when he hangs his boots up we bring him into the coaching fold.
Hadn’t realised he’s been involved in 78 games since he signed. He also said RDZ is up there with the best managers he has played for.
Not convinced he’s going to spend much time on the pitch though
I think I've got something in my eye
Now that you are safely ducked and hidden think about the influence that Adam Lallana will have away from the pitch, as well as on it when injury free. The guy is obviously well respected, knowledgeable and influential throughout the club. A superb mentor for the younger players and has the credentials to be an outstanding coach in the future - hopefully with us.I'm not totally convinced. Out for the rest of the season and you wouldn't be surprised when he comes back that he picks up another long term injury.

Puts the usual generic football player tripe to shame! Well said.
