Has anybody seen Adam Hinshlewood playing for Lewes and if so do you think that he will come back for us as we desperately need him after yet another woeful display and mistake by Whing, that cost us the game.

The mistake was by Elphick, not Whing.

Perhaps I should have said a number rather than many as my memory tells me I have seen him ona number of occassions but cannot recall actual matches I though that it was during our Championship seasons. I am sure that he would still be an improvment on Whing if not what is this Steve Cook who came on against Man City like.

Your constant sniping at Whing is really tedious.

Was he even at fault for the goal yesterday? He had a reasonable game, as did all the back four.

And for the record both Hinshelwood AND Steve Cook are centre backs.

BG, you do seem to have a bee in your bonnet about Whing, ever since you decided Micky Adams did not rate him (this decision was made pre-season). Worth noting that Whing has made almost half of his total appearances under Adams (at Coventry and Brighton). It was Dowie that shipped him out of Coventry.

Hinsh has played many games for us at right back and was far better than Whing. We have 3 players who originally were listed as Right back/central defenders in Virgo, Elphick and Hinshlewood so it should be easy to sort it out.

He also played in right midfield under McGoo. However, Mickey Adams is not daft enough to play a centre half on the right wing... erm.... doh!

Would def rather have Harding than Richards. Harding realised that he was 1) a full back and therefore didn't drift in field and 2) was a defender and therefore didn't get too caught up in attack.
