Has anybody seen Adam Hinshlewood playing for Lewes and if so do you think that he will come back for us as we desperately need him after yet another woeful display and mistake by Whing, that cost us the game.

Hinsh has played many games for us at right back and was far better than Whing. We have 3 players who originally were listed as Right back/central defenders in Virgo, Elphick and Hinshlewood so it should be easy to sort it out.

When has he played 'many' games at rightback? I only remember him playing a handful of games there and he was all over the place. Admittedly that was in the Championship but positioning is the same which ever league you're in.

Not all centrebacks can play fullback.

I seem to recall he played right back against Brentford once and we lost 4-0 (again).

Perhaps I should have said a number rather than many as my memory tells me I have seen him ona number of occassions but cannot recall actual matches I though that it was during our Championship seasons. I am sure that he would still be an improvment on Whing if not what is this Steve Cook who came on against Man City like.

He was also in the U21 squad so must have been doing something right.

When he was playing centreback. Don't get me wrong he was a very good player, just don't think he's a fullback. I hope he does come back and stay fit, get back to his best and get his place back. He seems to be getting good reviews at Lewes anyway.

It'd be great if Hinsh could get back to his best, but he is more of a centre-back and wouldnt offer much more than Whing at right-back. That's not to say Whing has been good this season. I think both of our full-backs have really taken a step backwards this year.

who everybody would love to have back at the club, so what's your point?

Who is this everybody I certainly dont in fact I would rather we signed Richards permenantly.

Seconded. I don't know who 'chez is but I certainly didn't elect him to represent my views. For the record, I don't want Harding back either. Perhaps in future Chez, you could either keep your opinions to yourself (unlikely on a forum) or not do everybody the discourtesy of claiming you represent us all.

I'd rather have Harding than Kerry Mayo.
