Michael Caine

He admits himself he’s made a load of shit films. I think his quote was “to have a high standard of living sometimes I have to make a low standard of film”

Tom Hanks and Michael Caine

Maybe Kevin Costner, yes I like Waterworld.
He’s in tons of bad ones, you’ve probably just been lucky not to see them.

On Jaws: The Revenge he said: "I have never seen the film but by all accounts it was terrible. However I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific”

Russell Crowe, maybe I am thinking that because he has been in some films that I bloody love. I have not seen all his films but all that I do remember I enjoyed. Master and Commander, LA Confidential and 3.10 to Yuma stand out

The real answer is,
John Cazale.

Only appeared in 5 films, each of which was nominated as Best Pcture at the Academy Awards.

The Godfather
The Godfather 2
The Conversation
Dog Day Afternoon
The Deerhunter.

Tragically he was suffering from terminal lung cancer during the filming of the Deerhunter, and died shortly after his part in filming was finished.

An incredible actor who would have been widely acknowledged on a par with DeNiro, Pacino, and Nicholson as the among the best actors ever.
