Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini will move for Liverpool trio Fernando Torres, Javier Mascherano and Steven Gerrard if the Reds finish outside the top four in the Premier League this season and are forced to sell their superstars.

Personally I'd love to see this happen. It would f*** Liverpool right up for at least a decade. I don't dislike them, but it really is about time they moved over.

yes spot-on.

I would also like to see Rafa sacked never really liked the guy.

Torres and Mascherano are superstars , Gerrard isn't.

Ditto

Before this story even came up I was chatting with a friend about who mancini could bring in to sure up the defense, and he brought up John Terry, which I dismissed, however I did say torres or gerrard would go if rafa was sacked, which is highly likely to happen in the event of them failing to secure CL....or even dare i say it Europa League football next season.

I think one qoute in the convo i made was that benitez has "spunked more money on players than tiger Woods could on the enitre planets prostitute community" and that " when he got to liverpool they ripped off the anfield gates and replaced it with a revolving door"

Also, whilst teams under him have performed better statistically than that of Houlleier, Houlleier's team won more major (excluding fa trophy and euro super cup) trophies in 1 season than Benitez has in his 5 years at the club.

The Scouse fans have been living off that CL win for many years now and it looks as if many have lost their patience with Rafa.

This is just the Sun winding up Scousers again.

Mascherano is the only one who could possibly end up at City, but he's not even as good as he thinks he is anyway.

Gerrard will finish his playing career with Liverpool.

Torres will sooner or later head for Spain or Italy for billions and mega-wages.

Mascherano probably, but City 'could' pull him on the basis of having his chum already playing for them.

Benayoun would be a good catch for a top club, and I reckon he'd be happy to get a change. I reckon United could be an interested party for his services.
