So The Argus is announcing Oprah as Manager tonight?

Didn't realise she had given up her chatshow to take her coaching badges.

Why bring in a manager a day before a game? He isn't going to have a clue about our squad and wouldn't have seen any training or games. I would genuinely rather have White & Booker in charge tomorrow (I can't believe I've just written that).

He can watch the game and get a better idea of what needs doing without influencing any selections?

....and I employ Russel D as paper boy although he'd take f***ing ages to do his round as he'd tell every poor sod he saw how Jack Dineen tripped him up and cut his eye in 1981!!!!

Whoever or whenever it is, it'll be W&B's team tomorrow night. The boys just need somebody to show off to - somebody new to impress. My biggest concern is that their confidence is so low that whatever game they try to play [route one or pass and move], it just seems to go wrong.

Let's hope they've got a bit of the 'Let's Do It For Jim' mentality; my limited medical knowledge tells me that a ruptured kidney isn't something you get over in a few weeks. The poor chap's got some uncomfortable days ahead.
