If that was an excellent goal we will definitely be lucky to stay up this year! Good chest down and then league one close control off his knee as he bumbled it past the keeper who was put of by the dreadful touch and had to hit and hope it back towards the goal. Would not have got past the keeper or back tracking defender in the Championship.

Not that worried about the performance overall today as this is nowhere near the team we will start with against Forest, new signings or not.

Not an agenda at all. I just wasn't impressed by the goal. I said he chested it down well but from there on in it looked like a lower league goal. He doesn't look like scoring when he is one on one or in a position to score and always looks like the next touch will be a heavy one. Sorry if I disagree with you.

Maybe I am living in cloud cuckoo land but I think pre season is going pretty well. We need couple more signings (upfront and CB). Like the fact we se to be playing 4-4-2

You're welcome to disagree but I thought your assessment seemed a little biased by your view of him.

Not at all, I don't think he is anywhere near Championship standard but I always try and assess things fairly. For example his goal against Arsenal was one of the best goals of the season last year (not much competition there admittedly!).

I hope things change for him as he comes across as a very honest professional who gives his best. I can't see that happening though and think we need to cut our losses and be brave by blooding some youngsters up front.
