Wowzers, if this lad is as good as he's being made out to be then he's going to become a massive Albion hero. He's already mugged off Palarse and Colin! And all this by the humble age of 15!!

Interesting to hear a) Colin's comments (he's the most skillful 15 year old I've ever seen) b) how bitter some of the Palace fans are (that said guess it would be no different on here) especially when they wank over how good the likes of Clyne, Zaha the cheat, Bostock and Moses are.

Especially for someone who supposedly doesn't like the loan market!

Gus isn't against loans. He is reluctant to take short term loans because a) players are not so invested in the team and b) it takes a while to grow accustomed to our system, and by they are gone before they even get comfortable.

However, his history shows he is willing to loan players; Lualua (several times), Barnes, Arismendi, Wood, Harper, Reyes (now twice) for example.

How's about a midfield of

Barnes - left mid/attack
Bridcutt - defensive
Razak - box to box
Vicente - free role behind CMS
Buckley - right mid/attack

then? Sounds alright by me...

If these are both true then it's a clear sign that Gus and Tony want Playoffs this season and aren't willing to just sit back and accept mid table consolidation. Kind of exciting innit?
