Went there tons of times in the mid 70's. Seem to remember a crazy golf next to it, and there were always 2 old and massive American cars in the car park.

Grew up in Hove so was there all the time. Absolutely loved it. Bowling, Megazone, swimming but the slides were the best. Often got chucked out for going down in trains of us - think our record was 9 which was probably very dangerous. Sad whats happened to it now. I remember being told it was the last place in England that didn't have electronic scoring in the bowling. Retro.

Yes. the bowling alley closed in 1989. I too thought the laser quest had taken over the same space, I was amazed to find it was still there. As you say it must be enormous down there.
There’s no way it closed in 89. I played there with my brother in law up the age of 18 which was 1998.

They did gold pin Mondays where if you hit a strike when a gold pin stood in the 1 pin slot you won a free game.
