Oh my God - here we go again... hoovering up PL level failures and expecting to get a different result.
Once yeah maybe (Gross), twice unlikely (Suttner), thrice? virtually assured to suck.
He was on a high season one, fell back to earth with a bang last time around... he's not good enough, and unlikely to improve based on his age. If this is a back up signing I fail to see the point especially given the rise of one or two of the development squad this pre-season.
I'm filing this under mildly irritating as a signing, as I believe his addition to be utterly pointless if I'm honest.

A couple of years ago - yes. Now I think both we and he have moved on, in different directions. Can't see who we'd want him to replace in our midfield, and we've got back-up. Could do with improvements there, but I don't think he's it now..

Hmm, it’s a tricky one as I would have to retrain my brain to like him as an Albion player (I love ALL our boys), when he and Huddersfield have done nowt but irritate me over the last 2 - 3 years.

Yes - in the championship... on a good day.
He's proven not to be good enough at this level.
I fail to see (yet again) the point of chasing PL failures and has beens... he's not as good as DS, nor Bissouma, nor Propper... nor Kayal in my opinion.
Total waste of a squad number, wages... you name it.
He's also bald, which means he could't drink in the rock bars I frequent. Nah, shite.
