According to some Kayal was the best midfield player at the club last season, until he got a game and showed how shite he was

Question is - was his performance against Derby impacted by him having his head turned by us if we’d already made enquiries before the game ?!
Personally I think he could be the decent playmaker we need if he delivers the impressive form he has shown in the past and obviously the prospect of linking up with Maty Ryan would no doubt be appealing to him.
