Crikey.

Dale survives another day. What's the take on this from our resident Stephens hating numpties then?

All of a sudden realised they don't play in the same position?

Very odd seeing as we only signed him permanently in January. Would have thought Stephens was more of a candidate to be moved on.

Right on cue :lolol:

Why do people post shit replies like this?

I'm not a scout. Those players are part of the reason why we struggle every season. If you want a top 10 finish like Bloom wants then these are the sort of players that need shipping out. All 3 are to slow for this league

Honestly so deluded. Gross and Propper are two of the main reasons we are still a premier league side. Your right your not a scout your an idiot.

Not that anyone is suggesting it would be a choice between these two, but I'd sooner see Mooy leave than Gross.

Good luck Aaron!

Id like to see us invest in a defensive centre mid to give us a bit more balance, unless Molumby has really impressed.

We still have

Bissouma
Alzate
Molumby
Stephens
Propper
Gross
Lallana
Mac Allister

All for those 3 midfield spots. Wonder if Molumby will go on loan again?

Was great during the 1st half of the season and then tailed off after he joined permanently.

Would have been a fringe player this year, Molumby to take his place in the squad?

This ...I was really pleased when he signed but in reality he disappointed - as others have said, lack of pace let him down.

We have Alzate, McAllister, Lallana, Gross for attacking midfielder positions so just couldn’t see Mooy getting much game time. Sensible move and gets wage bill down whilst the fee might pay for the fee we paid. We’ll need his wage savings to pay for White’s new deal!!

If we line-up as a 5-3-1-1 it's actually 5 (6if you include Lallana in that) players between those central 3 positions which isn't bad competition wise.

Alternatively, that would then mean that there are 4 players battling for that CAM role (including Trossard and Lallana) which does seem crowded.

Well quite. Many don't see it that way though, suggestions of playing Gross in the middle of the park not too long ago :lolol:

I said a while back that I wouldn't be surprised if both Gross and Mooy left before Stephens. I was shot down as being head mental.

You walked right into that one :lolol:

It may or may not be true. I don't need reasons why it may be true before I know it is true in order to decide whether it is or isn't true, without any actual evidence. It's on stuff like this, me a scientist and you a nut case (a lovely nut case, but a nut case nonetheless) go our separate ways.

If it were something I could do something about then fair enough. Maybe. But if send him some flowers with a note begging him to not leave, kisses on the bottom, I doubt it would have much traction, even if it were all true. Which it may or may not be.

And if it is you don't win a prize.

And....hate to say this but it's not as if it's someone like Ben White who's being discussed, in the imminent departure context, here, is it.

ps, Has he gone yet? Ben White, I mean.

By pure chance this just popped up on my front page.

Or was it pure chance? ???

Q: What are some behavioral cues that make you think “there’s probably a bias here”?

BB: I think confidence is one. Feeling and uncertainty about data is another one. Whenever you have a lot of options and you find yourself easily making a choice, that’s a big one. Whenever you’re halfway through a project or ninety percent through a project and things are just not working out but you’re continuing, that’s a good one.

These are all the things we do every day, and we all come up with our tricks to work through it. But one of the most interesting ones to me is that we all see ourselves as critical thinkers, but whenever there’s evidence that we aren’t a critical thinker, that’s cognitive dissonance that for the most part goes all the way down to our identity. But none of us are that great at it. It’s still hard to admit that we’re not good at it.

These posts do not go well together if I managed to understand the first one.

Anyway, he is off to China now. No evidence though, just the club confirming it.

Some people could use their logic and common sense to the equation on the likely outcome, others need a stool sample. Turns out logic and common sense was enough this time around.

I think he has impressed the club, and thats probably been part of their thinking with letting Mooy go. If they got a decent fee for Mooy, or basically made a profit, then they're trading a 29 year old for a young player who's drawn comaprions with Roy Keane for his pressing game. I've got really high hopes for Molumby.

Wow.

We’re keeping Groß then.

Hope we got £lots for him.

Best of luck Aaron - never learnt to love you the way I should and won’t get the chance now!
