Speaking personally, clearly all this Albion team needed was more players called Aaron in the team.
I’m available to boost this criteria, if they’re looking for a slow but both-footed overweight winger...

C'est La Vie - Bewitched. (A little nod to irish heritage)

Say, hey boy sitting in your tree
Mummy always wants you to come for tea (ah oh)
Don't be shy, straighten up your tie
Get down from your tree house sitting in the sky (ah oh)
I wanna know just what to do
Is it very big, is there room for two
I got a house with windows and doors
I'll show you mine if you promise to score
Gotta let me in, hey hey hey
Let the fun begin, hey
I'm the wolf today, hey hey hey
I'll huff, I'll puff
I'll huff, I'll puff, I'll blow you away
Say you will, say you won't
Say you'll do what I don't (say you will)
Say you're true, say to me
Connolly
Say you will, say you won't
Say you'll do what I don't (say you will, hey)
Say you're true, say to me (get a life)
Connolly

Words are a bit too complex - will take a while for it to take hold.

If you’re taking heritage, something to the tune of Galway Girl (Steve Earl not Ed Sheeran) would be great.

I’ll let someone else come up with the lyrics.

Eric Prydz - "Call on Me" would be an easy option.

It's not a decent chat room created song, if it's doesn't use an incredibly obscure source, doesn't contain at least 6 verses, doesn't create 500 posts arguing over the minutiae of the lyrics and doesn't have any prospect of ever being sung, by anyone ever

I'm my day the drunkest bloke with the most mates (not me) on the train carriage to Southend or Kidderminster or wherever we were going, basically decided the songs, just by starting to actually sing them

Thought the song was crap tbh, unreal Saturday, potentially unbelievable future, would love it if this guy actually has a song that isn't boring and generic.

I know some of our fans struggle with songs with more than two words in, but had this in my head for weeks and think this would sound great.

Heres to you Aaron Connolly!

Worth it though innit

Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy no.

Anyway, 'experimental football chants' posted on NSC MUST have, somewhere, a total scan failure. Yours doesn't. Mine, however,

Nananana nananana heyayay Aaron Connolly.

Perfect.

God save our Connolly,
Long live our Connolly,
Oh Connolly.
Send him victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us,
Oh Connolly.

Simple. Effective. Can’t see any problems with this being used for the lad.

Not 100% sure but being from the Republic Of Ireland, it might not sit well with the player or his family
