True. Although against Getafe, he had literally no support. Run after run in behind the defence was followed by March playing a ponderous ball back to Webster.

I genuinely think that he has the pace to really trouble defenders in the Premier League, but only if his team mates are looking out for him

Agreed, his movement, pace and running in the channels is great. Needs to cut out his theatrics, and re-discover his finishing. If he manages this all will be fine. Too many B&HA fans have decided that because he's attracting attention off the pitch, he's not up to much on it. I disagree, but he'll need to ensure that he achieves what he can in the game.

……Off the pitch as well……!

Well he's managed to keep out of any bad publicity for almost a week now so that's a small positive I suppose

Having seen how ruthless GP can be with players I suggest that he is confident enough in AC to be able and willing to sort whatever problems he has. Otherwise he’d have been shipped out on loan or sold…imo

We’ll know soon enough though, especially if we pull off a miracle and get another striker in.

The squad against Watford will be a good clue on his immediate future. If he is in it I think he'll be around for this season, otherwise I could see him loaned somewhere. Dont think the club would/could sell him for various reasons (good talent and probably very little interest in paying for him).

I think we’ve still got a number of players to loan or sell including Molumby.

However, I don’t think it is that smart shifting Connolly unless we are getting a lad in to replace him.

Edit:

Without Connolly, have we got enough here?

Maupay - Still question marks over his finishing across a season.
Welbeck - Doubts over fitness.
Andone - After the Potter comments, not sure he’ll be the same player again after injuries.
Zeqiri - Potter plays him at wingback or wide forward.
Locadia - A DJ by trade.
Tau - Good as gone.

I can't see us loaning him without getting another striker in. If we don't sign one, then I assume he will stay. Which is probably my main reason for wanting us to sign a striker, because I think Connolly desperately needs a loan to help his career with us.

And the answer is, as always: Nothing.

Some unsubstantiated tabloid nonsense maybe? Perhaps an unverified Twitter account stating a rumour as fact perchance? An Albion fan that just thinks he's s*** spouting off about the same? Or how about just adding 2 + 2 and coming up with a disciplinary triggering 9?

I know he broke the lockdown thing but genuinely, what are the other things he’s done as from what I read in NSC there are about 5 or 6 big incidents I’m not aware of? That’s a genuine question…?

All of these are allegedly, but have been discussed on this thread:

- Allegedly cheated on his girlfriend (tabloids)
- Breached covid rules (related to the above, confirmed & disciplined by club)
- Flounced on social media after a poor performance
- Got in a conflict in Brighton (on film)
- Some random girls accusing him of a separate conflict (on film)
- And another conflict in a nightclub (on film)
- Had an issue on the training ground which cost him a place in the squad v Burnley (Alleged on NSC)

Am I missing any?

That’s one hell of a Wednesday.

Similar things to gossip about Duffy in the past.

The girlfriend and covid thing is same incident I covered. Didn’t know any of the others - I’m really missing out not being on social media I guess   I think he’s got a bit of attitude but until the club confirm things, it’s a bit of a myth / guesswork. But that’s what football forums are I guess.

Ironically the most suitable mentor for Aaron is likely to be Shane Duffy.
Shane's been there and got the t-shirt for most situations and so can share the consequences of his experience with AC.

As a fellow Ireland international I'm guessing he is someone AC would trust and listen to.
Hopefully this wouldn't include passing on Jordan's mobile number.

I’m guessing that Shane is someone EVERYONE listens too in the dressing room. I’m sure he’s in the leadership group along with the likes of Dunk, Webbo & Lallana etc.

Totally agree with this, the best mentors for people who don't always make the best decisions are others who have not always make the best decisions
