Attitude. He could play a bit and played many games for Wales. Went from Wrexham to Manchester United and came to us via Everton I think. Big time Charlie who displayed an attitude with the way he played, the crowd, the press that he was too good for us. He wasn't. A bit like Locadia, but much, much worse.
I do feel some are being a bit harsh on Aaron what can he do if he has an ex/on off girlfriend on a reality show and seemingly stories leaking to the press that he may / may not still be seeing her.
I seen no difference between what Bissouma puts on social media and Connolly (Except Biss is way more blingy / show offy) but that is modern society I am afraid
Now I feel bad. If I'd known Dunk would end up getting the blame I'd have driven up the road and thrown them in the Ouse.
Last season was massively frustrating when - apart from a few stand-out results - it just felt like our points total didn't wholly reflect the quality and fluidity of our play. For me, Connolly's off-field choices became a bit of a lightening rod for my frustrations which I accept is more my problem than his.
But I generally like to start a new season with a clean slate for everybody with a squad number so I'm going to draw a line under everything that did or didn't happen last year and hope that Aaron has a successful season with us.
I think he is allowed to wear whatever clothes he likes. It is very unfortunate that he is romantically involved (on and off) with a girl who is making headlines due to being on that soft porn show Love Island, mainly because that can't be helping him psychologically right now.
I don't object to him for either of these things (I feel sorry for him with the relationship mess he is in), on the other hand the rumour mill is pretty strong that he might be a bit of an arrogant tit which is never good.
If he was scoring goals for fun then I would just tut and shake my head at his "antics", but since he isn't I feel free to disapprove and to hope that he sorts himself out, in the strongest possible terms.
Also I am not yet in my fifties, nor properly balding yet so perhaps my opinion is permitted?
And apart from the fact Biss doesn't get pissed out on the town and is one of the best footballers in the country.
And absolutely this.
Once the season starts, if Aaron’s in the squad, those that matter at the club believe in and are backing him and that’s enough for me.
No one would be more delighted than me to see AC be a success for us.

Good story. Just last week I met someone who had been to Brighton and who told me that Lewis Dunk had thrown kittens into the ocean. Must be the truth and I'll forever judge him harshly for it despite not knowing him or even having met him. Reasonable.
i'm just waiting for the Rooney to hatch out ......the kid is a clone , come on...

A clone with a mere fraction of Wayne's talent.
In your defence you might add they were Turkish Van cats and actually looking for water as they fancied a swim.
