"Connolly, who earns £23,000 a week" - gets paid, I'd say, not 'earns'!

"Influencer Lucinda" - who does she influence and how? I guess other hard-of-thinking airheads, brainless bimbos and wannabe glamour-models who are invariably all-tits-and-no-talent (plus obligatory trout-pout collagen lips and fake tans), and whose ambitions in life do not extend beyond 'I wanna be famous' by appearing on Reality TV, modelling swimwear on a beach in Dubai, and sh*gging a Premier League footballer.

I know he's a lot older but what a credit this guy was, Alireza Jahanbakhsh, I see he's scored double the number of goals in half the games in Holland, the sort of guy you really want to do well, Connolly whatever.....

Shock, never saw this coming. I wonder if we'll still hear the "Apart from this incident, this incident, this incident, this incident and this incident he's no different to any other young footballer" from his defenders on here.

The guy is a total bellend and I don't particularly want him at our club anymore.

If he sorts his life out and knuckles down and shows that he wants it, then great. But we all know that isn't going to happen. We all know what he is.

You have to remember being early 20’s at that age I was a DJ on a party Island in the summers and did a lot of crazy stuff. I didn’t think further than the next day tbh. Who cares what his girl does they are both young plenty of time to get sensible.

So the police goes to their home to calm her down and obviously it is all his fault and an example of his "poor attitude" etc according to the sentiment of NSC-visitors who sickening psychopaths chewing froth over the next opportunity to bash a young man they decided not to like as a human being because he wasnt scoring enough goals for a football club.

And you wonder why Dan Burn couldnt wait to get away from the Amex or why none of the key players show any interest in renewing their contracts and why the players are obviously happier playing away than at home...

Yes but your career wasn't going to be over at 35. He doesn't have time to get sensible at all, he's a professional athlete at an elite level in a short career. His body will start to decline in about 6 years!

Wow.

What a load of absolute bullshit.

How many more incidents do their need to be with this guy before you admit he IS much worse than any other player with his off field antics?

I'm surprised many people, probably double his age really care. Until he starts getting arrested or put on bail or ends up in court I'm not really bothered. Even less so when he is on loan

Who can seriously put their hand on their heart and say that they haven't suffered from some ex, who was great in bed but then turned out to be a complete psycho, turning up pissed outside their front door in the early hours when they were young and stupid ?

Just me then

People care because he is nicking a massive living from our club. And it's exaggerated because he had so much potential in a position that most agree is the missing piece in the jigsaw for the Albion to become a proper top half Premier League team. And I'm sure it won't be long before he ends up in court, although we'll have probably shipped him out by then.

When he's banging in the goals for Gallway Utd in 5 years time and strutting around the pubs and clubs telling people he used to be a Premier League footballer, I wonder if he'll look back and think "What the **** have I done?"

The club is as guilty as Aaron for throwing him in so young and leaving him in / around the team when things were not going well. It's not his fault if he's not at the level and certainly not his fault the club gave him a huge pay rise so quickly.

I have some insight into him as a 'professional' and agree he needs a reality check, but if he won't listen to Potter, Ashworth, Bloom- he's probably not going to listen to a bunch of men who have never been paid to kick a football give advice to him on social media

To put it into context I am as bothered by Aaron off the field behaviour - as I was seeing Dean Cox, John Sullivan, Tommy Fraser etc getting pissed up and behaving like twats every Saturday night when I was out every weekend ... not very

The problem with Aaron is that he is in the papers for related issues repeatedly. Meanwhile, he's bang average at Middlesborough.

There is no longer any suggestion he's ever going to make it at our club, and it seems clear that his lack of judgement has taken precedence over the expression of any talent he may have.

It's not his fault, but he's paid to be a professional athlete and he doesn't behave like one. If you have a high powered job on a massive salary then that comes with responsibilities.

The Dean Cox etc example is different to me because we were a small club in a small league then. The Albion is almost recognisable since those days, and if we want to push on and really fulfil our potential then we need to ditch small time morons like Aaron Connolly. He can go and do his stuff at a club like the Albion were 15 years ago. He's probably be happier anyway without the spotlight and the pressure.

All relative - those players we relied on to stay in the leagues and despite a tiny budget with no real funding, took up a lot of our wages. Probably more important than Connolly is now who is out on loan and really not on huge wages compared to rest of our 'important' players.

I guess so. They were all pretty bang average players though, who were never going to do much more than they already were. And they were actually doing OK for us on the pitch. Connolly seemed to have real potential to be a Premier League striker, and be the answer to our problems but (so far) has totally thrown it away.
