Although we're 19th in the table , a win today could have taken us up to 8th. Jimmy Mac will be back shortly and Muzza isn't that far off either. With a full strength squad things will change for the better.

Personnally, I don't think we played that well. Our defence was next to useless when it came to defending and Virgo could only hoof the ball up field rather than play it to Bennett.

How many times did Dicker pick the ball up of the defence and come forward with it. Not once as far as I recall because they just wanted to hoof it up. Southend looked far better on the ball than us and all we seemed to want to do was keep giving it back to them. Having said that, had Forster and Bennett taken those gilt edged opportunities then it would have been a different result.

Their first goal was quality but we were poor for 2nd and 3rd and El Abd was fecking dire in defence.

I saw the foul on bennett right in front of the lino. Cant really moan about the officials though I thought it was the best referee we've had for ages.

a blind man would have seen crofts upended just before we let them run virtually the length of the pitch!! as for the officials the only thing different to the previous efforts was that todays ref left his cards at home!!!

We were worth a draw today and it was an entertaining game with five goals,however its another three points lost.
There is no point saying what position we would be in the league if we had won,we did`nt
