Absolutely no chance. Ironically closed due to development on land owned by a company Tony Bloom owns!
Arse! Oh well, the heads up is appreciated as I'll be heading Westbound that morning about 11ish

The article says only the westbound side will be closed.? Although that road and the roadworks by Lyons Farm park in Worthing seem have been dragging on for months now.

You try building on a flood plain, with a nautural chalk drain running through it. It'll all end in tears. Tears of pure clean natureally filtered south downs water.

That could be marketed… pure Sussex (without top) bottled spring water
Bloom and Barber are already testing the idea.

I wonder what this might be like on Sunday morning? I'd be aiming to get to Portslade about 11am on Sunday.

Coming from Hampshire a thought I had was to come off the a27 a bit earlier at Clapham and head up the a24 there, then round through Steyning etc which is the diversion anyway.

It’s only westbound that’s shut so you’ll be fine

It is going to be nightmare for next few weeks.

Detour from Worthing up to Findon, Washington and then past Steyning.

I think coast road though, despite the jams will be quicker.
