As I remember McGarrigle was a good player who went to Barnsley I think after leaving us. I always thought he had loads of potential. Also people are still voting for Darragh Ryan......WHY????? If it werent for a broken leg he could have gone on to great things.

Icy Gull uv been a bit harsh there, especially Storer, he was a guy who always gave everything and had a little bit of skill too.

Id like to recommend Lawrence Davies, Derek Coughlan, Bradley Woshalo, Colin Pates, Darren Wilkinson - and one of my worst ever Russell f***ing Osman, why we ever signed him, I dont know

OK 90% is harsh as there are about 6 players in that list who were head and shoulders above the others.

Colin Pates -a terrible player   The guy was absolute quality as far as I remember.

Andy Ansah was shite, just less shite than some of the others. He was brushed off the ball with prolific regularity by some seriously pub team standard defenders.

In Pates second spell with us, he was absolutely cack, only redeeming feature was the "We are his mates" chant

Ansah was quality off the pitch, always remember listening to commentary when we lost 2-1 at Rochdale, and he sounded like he was the biggest Albion fan ever, went mental when we scored and could barely talk when they grabbed a last minute winner!

Some of the wankest players had some pretty high opinions of themselves and their "talents".
Lawrence Davies left us because he thought he could do better elsewhere.
Micheal-Pony-Johnson turned down a move to the Albion first time round because he thought he could get into the QPR first team (in the 1st Division at that time)
Paul Linger turned down a move from Orient to us first time round.
Damien Hilton thought he deserved a place in the Norwich City first team. That bloke wasn't good enough for Norwich United (Eastern Counties League)

I thought Gary Hobson wasn't that bad, maybe that's because i've managed to suppress the memories of those Pissfield games. Andy Ansah was shit. He managed the whopping total of 2 goals from about 20 games.

All brings back beautiful memories of Brighton 0-0 Doncaster at the Priestfield for Fans United - the lowest quality shitfest I've ever seen - it almost made Peter Smith look good!

Frank Stapleton, now he was an embarrasment.

Wookiee's list is the stuff of nightmares though.

Still think Derek Allan was the worst A. Phil Andrews was just a kid who never made it I thought.

Nobby Upton - in 44 appearances in midfield never scored a single fecking goal

Percy Varco - played one (JUST ONE) game for us as Centre Forward in the 1930s and was so crap he never played for us again

Willie Young - we must all remember him - just 4 games from the Great Willie and never wore an Albion shirt again - crap!

I think that Lawrence Davies a few people have mentioned should be the D entry. he was utter crap, and neatly summed up the Gillingham years.

Nobody's disputed Farrington or Tiltman though I see!

Aaah, remember it well 6,500 for that one.

Genuinely the one time that made me think I could do better and that I might get fit and turn up and ask for a trial.

Total shitfest against a club being run into the ground and whose first team was chock full of pub team players. Defenders were too good for Pony Johnson to get a sniff though.

I did turn up .... but my mate with the medical shoe and calipers was offered a game before me!
