Don't think you were really out of order.

When the steward snatch squad came afer you at halftime they were in such a rush to catch up with you that one of them barged into me and knocked the remains of my hot cup of tea over me. Lucky I had my jacket on. They were like a pack of wild dogs let loose on some unsuspecting prey!

They seemed desperate to throw someone out because they could not handle the fact that U block had a few enthusiastic supporters in it. If you were in the South stand or an away supporter they wouldn't have bothered with you.

Run this past me again ...

Wigan return 400 tickets.

The Club puts them on sale to home fans, specifically targeting supporters who can't normally get to games.

They turn up and get behind the team.

The stewards throw them out for making too much noise.

What's going on?

As Lush says ... These are the people we want at Falmer. I just hope they feel the same.

The stewarding need sorting out..most home games there are comments about over zealous stewards.
Are we at the game to get behind the team or just sit there quietly?
The last few home games are going to be vital if we are to survive in the championship and throwing people out for showing a bit of passion is bang out of order.

During the 2001/02 season I went in U Block a lot and always found it a really good laugh. You could be as pissed as you like and have loads of banter with the away mob (especially as we beat most of them).

Seems the club are doing all they can to make sure there's absolutely NO atmosphere at Withers.

Yeah I was being a bit loud, but only tring to keep some entertainment going.

Sorry U block but was I out of order?

I thought you were FANTASTIC ! and tried to encourage you at every opportunity.

I was a couple of rows back frpom you, right against the green plastic gap - chatting to the 'steward' opposite quite a bit, and standing up for Falmer at every opportunity, etc.. etc...

It was fun in U block, especially the first half - THANKS

:clap2: :ascarf: :clap2:

You can hear it - I wouldn't call it 'intimidating' but I guess you didn't exactly get going at full tilt very often anyway last night.

The 'abuse' of Mr D'Urso was fairly impressive :lolol:

I wanna go in U block - sounds like a good laugh. How late do you have to get a ticket to know that the away have sent them back? Do they always get all of that stand or can you get in their anyway for some games???

It's a shame the remaining home games will probably see the away end pretty full. I fancy a bit of this U Block craze! :jester:

Well I enjoyed myself, I like to make some noise, thats all I can do to support the lads.

In fact it's all any of us can do.

I will be writing to the club to complain about the stewards.
