I noticed at the bottom of the piece regarding Bridcutt joining the Champions of all the galaxies, it mentioned Buckley going back the other way having not featured in Leeds' last 4 games.

I can't believe sick notes time is up, so instead I'll start the ball rolling with the obvious:-

Leon Knight.

It's just occurred to me I've probably got this round the wrong way.

Perhaps the better (harder) question would be 'players who went on to bigger and better things, since their time in our stripes'.

It gets even tougher if the OP started with Mark Lawrenson & Zamora.

Oh well, someone else can do that, I'm off to bed.

Nighty night night,

Jimmy Langley, Gary Stevens, Ian Muir, Dean Saunders, John Robinson to name a few (and Gareth Barry I suppose)

Steve Cook and Tommy Elphick have to be up there. Although Bournemouth aren't a glamour club, both reached the PL before us. Seeing as Cook could barely get on our bench I'd say that's an improvement.

Mark Beaney typifies what I was attempting to get at with this thread.

Was fantastic for us and should have gone onto so much more than Leeds' bench.

So sorry Chris McPhee, Kerry Mayo et al, and possibly even El Abd, sadly you're victims of poor thread structure.

Beaney
Foster.
Knight.
Ward.
Buckley (pending)

Jake Robinson. Could almost put the height of his Albion days down to the week where he scored two hat tricks [vs Northwich and Huddersfield IIRC]
