No idea Tom.. Rarely travel to England these days... mainly because, If I buy a pint there, I just cant get it out of my mind that back here, i would be getting a meal and a drink for the same price...id be surprised if they stopped exporting it though..

Area of Prague I live in (Zizkov) doesnt really see much beer other than Czech beer. My girls bar sells Budweiser but I prefer Gambrinus if its available..
Either way, its a lot bloody cheaper than it is there haha....
Some bar around the area was selling it at 1kc for a promotion last weekend... 28kc to a pound....!!
Supermarket has beers starting at 7kc....

Really is cheaper than water here.

Ziskov................ we went in FC Ziskov`s clubhouse (not on a match day) and had the cheapest drinks i have ever bought. 3 lagers and 3 Slivivic for about £ 2.40 . That was 4/5 years ago mind.............. probably 2.80 by now the robbing bastards.

haha but probably about the same..food and drink seem to stay cheap...im in my
4th year, and there hasnt been any changes..large beer in my local is 25kc.. I always give them 30kc out of guilt..Bars in the center (3 tram stops away) where the Brit stag parties go charge 50kc which is bad enough but for some weird reason, a lot of staggers drink English lager which is not as good as Czech lager AND more expensive...Never hear Czech people in those bars, unless they are staff...they wouldnt dream of paying that price....
I live over the road from the FC Zizkov.. ive even bothered to watch them BUT it didnt last.....
I dont know what lunatic decided that they should play their home matches at 10:15 on a Sunday, but it soon lost my support.
Other things are getting expensive though.
Clothes and electronic goods are cheaper in England.

They knocked Glasgow Rangers out of Europe a couple of seasons before we went out there, not that thats saying much is it ?
When i went in the club house I accidently let the barmans dog out and we spent 20 minutes trying to catch the bastard in a foot of snow. had to have an extra couple of shots because of the cold after that.:lolol:

Also, I forgot I did the Tuborg brewery tour once in Copenhagen, which ends with a tasting session sat at long tables. When we went (crew of HMS Fearless) we were asked to sing to earn a beer. A few shy notes to get the first couple, then the songs got louder, then you couldn't stop us singing!
Good stuff Tuborg.
