Yeah cos England football team are a great side aren't they? If you want to watch a team guaranteed to lose watch England football team play anyone, anywhere in the world. However as history has proven watch England Rugby squad play and you will get a great match and also have a good chance of winning.

Go away and look at the competitive respective results of the two teams over the last 2 years, then tell us if you're actually right. [clue; you're not]

Yes i can say I actively started going to rugby matches in the last couple of years( its also because the wife hates football and its something we both enjoy so go together)

The varsity match is something I have been to many times, but only got into it a couple of years ago, when it was good open game..its normally a bore and most people are hammered anyway.

I used to play at school and never really understood the intracacies(sp) of the game as we always played it when it rained, and we were mostly wet, pissed off and cold.

Us rugby lovers (*) are taking over. Just as it should be.

(* - obviously as a rugby lover I've never actually been to a game of rugby. I did however enjoy getting pissed up around Twickenham during the 5 Nations (as it was then) during my Uni years as it was just a short journey from Kingston. The atmosphere in the pubs was fantastic. I did also get VERY excited following the last World Cup and, living in rugby country, was determined to get to a game or three and witness this non-segregated beer-drinking sport, if only for comparisons to my many footballing experiences. Obviously I've not actually done that but I have made the same promise to myself during this World Cup. And I will, I hope, get very excited about the game tomorrow night too.)
