they were both too bloody sensitive, and behaved like their views were superior, and went crying to mum when the heat ame on.

happened on another fanboard as well, pathetic specimens.

I disagree. I think they took an awful lot of abuse for not a lot of reason. You still see it on here, some people will look to pull up certain posters on every detail just because it's what other people do. It's a form of bullying - with a pack mentality - in my book anyways. If NSC cared half as much about personal abuse as it does against defending itself from potential litigation then we'd have a much nicer environment on here and a good deal higher standard of poster. Just my opinion like.

in fairness we are and have had a big crack down on abuse, and it is working in my opinion

Yes, I've noticed. And it was in no way a dig at you, or any individual for that matter. It takes time for things to change.

Just wanted to say that when I first came on this board was quite surprised by how vicious some of the posting was and have really noticed it change. Given the inevitable big increase in posters since the recent successful seasons and Amex's arrival it's a good job done by all the moderators i have to say.

I wouldn't lump London Irish in with Yorkie.

He was very strident in his views, about everything, and got equally strong reactions because of that.
Wasn't it an argument with Bozza that caused him to leave? Maybe the culutre of abuse starts at the top.

Or not.

She was bullied out by some NSC morons which spilled over to some abuse at a BHAFC match. Probably NSC's most shameful moment for me, she is a fantastic lady with a heart of gold and offered me help as a friend when I was going through a very tough time.
I think we need to have a sense of perspective here. No-one hounded Yorkie off this board at all. Without elaborating, I seem to recall some incident at an away game when a (shit) player joined in with a joke at her expense. That was a bit harsh, but it is hardly reasonable to pin that on bullying NSCers. To be fair, she made no song and dance about it, she just decided NSC wasn't for her which I think is fair enough.

London Irish reaked of pomposity in every post. He literally belittled anyone who had an opposing view to his. He then tried it on Bozza who got tired of his pompous bullshit and banned him, in much the same way as he got pissed off with looney's crap "it's a mod-conspiracy" contributions every other day and banned him for a year. Them's the breaks.

Why do we have to have this thread every couple of months?
And above all, THIS.

Close, both have strong opinions but Yorkie was not Patronising, condescending and quick to use Ad Hominem arguements like LI was.
