A Serious Sadness of Palace

High up on the South Downs.
Six Palace hooligans left Burnley early and boarded the train which reached Crewe at 18-32. Within minutes of leaving Crewe, one of them was heard on his mobile boasting that there were Brighton fans on the train "giving it large". In fact there was one respectable group of supporters and a number of GDC who included a couple of old age pensioners.

As the train neared London the Palace scrotes started to threaten the Albion fans. They had phoned their mates who made the long journey from East Chavdon to Euston to provide a reception commitee. The GDC were given a stirring pep talk by the Laird of Worthing.

At Euston as the Albion fans left the train there was a massed charge of 20 Palace thugs down the platform. Surreally, the Palace crew(who were charging at a handful of non-hooligan Albion and a sprinkling of London based Man City fans) were stopped in their tracks by the sudden appearance of at least thirty transport police who meticulously rounded up the bizarre collection of Croydon chavs.

Too much code in there but I was on the train with my brother. When we got off we saw some people holding Bud bottles in a way that showed that they weren't intending to drink from them. They spotted something toward the back of the train and ran down the platform. Just then about 5 police arrived, quickly followed by another 20 or so. They weren't exactly carrying raised truncheons but it reminded me of the Keystone Cops

Would have stayed around to see what happened but had to get to Victoria. Hopefully the cops arrested the right people.

Let's get this clear, I'm not a hooligan & don't condone violence. But if a Palace fan was on the train saying that Brighton were giving it large, the phone would go down his f***ing throat.

I was on that train.

One of the lunkheads banged on to me about the 'history' and kept calling my friends and I '****s'.

We weren't rising to it. He told the guard, in front of us' that it was 'going to go off' at Euston. What a hardman.

They were total meatheads and made for a pretty unpleasant journey home.

Mate on behalf of all decent Palace fans (there are some of us about), apologies to you and your pals, there is no excuse for that.

Well done for not reacting mate. Can't believe this still goes on, and meatheads like that (not especially palace btw) still exist.
