I cant believe that fans ignore the fact that we have LOST, yes LOST yet another two points at home, we are very close to the relegation area and have some very tough games coming up including the league leaders yet some find this comforting, wake up for goodness sake.

yes, god forbid people enjoying being out of the relegation zone for now, how dare we take one point at home instead of the usual none

Against a very good Huddersfield side

Only they weren't, were they? They were totally nondescript. DTG says they always play like that away from home. Fair enough, but they won't be troubling the play-offs on that showing. Suppose they might have nicked it 1-0, but hard to see where the main threat was coming from on that showing. And every half-decent side has a main threat.

7-1 tonking 0r 0-0 draw, i know which result i would rather have, even the deepest buried head in the softest sand can see things are slowly but surely improving, start at the back and the rest will follow, a bloody good point in our situation imo

I am assuming you were not at the game in view of your comment about Huddersfield being a good side.

No, I was not at the game, not easy to get up to games from Lyme Regis but I know a good point when I see one.

I am not saying it is fantastic but it's a start, as someone else said that's one defeat in eight so we are at least becoming harder to beat. You can't expect Gus to turn us into world beaters overnight, it's a slow process but we are improving and that's a good starting point and something from which we can build.

Keep the faith.

In Gus we trust.

Anyone who has sat through the complete SHAT that's been served up at the withers for the past 2 years can only marvel at how much better the team looks.

I was pissed off about the result last night but came away from the trees encouraged and hopeful - not just about staving off relegation, but about what Gus might do given a real run at it. I reckon we'll do Norwich on Saturday - cos' someone's going to get it soon from that team.

This had 0-0 written all over it. But in Albions defence, remember they were thrashed 7-1 by this side, so I would think they would be a bit cautious, esp with their home record. Maybe after the game it looks like 2 points dropped, but at the start I think we would have taken a point.

Also, teams need to be sound at the back before they can start winning games. The fact that we are not leaking goals maens that as a unit we are getting more difficult to beat. With Lua Lua we will be a much balanced team and hopefully pose threats down both wings.

I think we will beat Norwich on saturday.

17 games under slade, W 3, D 5, L 9 scored 17, conceeded 30

17 games under Poyet W 7, D 3, L 7 scored 24, conceeded 23

So a massive change under Poyet and even on this form we should amass 53 points, which will be close. But I think we will get more than that as after the next 3 games or so, we start to play teams that are around us.

I'm confident, cos we have finally stopped leaking goals. Just need a win at home and the rest will follow.

Unfortunately, bearing in mind Huddersfield dire away record, we need to win these games (and should have done) so that a loss to the likes of Norwich is bearable. Lose to Norwich and beat Huddersfield = 3pts. Draw both (we will need to be very lucky against Norwich to get that point) = 2pts. I know it does look like a good point if you consider the positions in the table but Huddersfield are only there because of their home record.

The starting 11 was dreadfull. Carole is a waste of a shirt and it was only when he went off and we had Dicker and Murray on that we showed any urgency and created the best moments of the match and if it weren't for the poor refereing, we would have had a penalty.

By the way, had a good week in Lyme Regis last year.

Good point imho. We are improving under poyet. It seams to have escaped most pepole on this thread that we have only lost once in our last 7 league games. (and that was down to a howler by virgo). I fancy us to get at least 2 points form the next 3 and we will beat Exeter. In Gus we trust.

Looked like a blatant push on murray at around 80 mins - i think we have been unlucky last 2 games (4 points dropped). Luck is supposed to even out but I don't think it will.

Walsall had a definite penalty not given at Fellows Park, not as blatant as the one on Saturday but a pen none the less.
