I’m not sure Villa fans would agree. They were all over us for a large proportion of the game, and that’s not taking away from Brighton their digging-in and persistence (nor the effective substitutions from the manager).

They were all over us for 25 mins after half time. Pretty even the other 65 mins I thought.

Good on us that Aston Villa decided to stop controlling the game and try to defend their lead after the hour mark. There wasn't a great deal indicating that we could get back into the game ourselves.

I think the thread question was directed at Brighton fans - I can hardly claim to be unbiased in that respect abd think we deserved the draw.
