I agree but that is exactly my point..we have supposedly done all the homework, checked them out and made sure they were right before the season ended so, where are they?

Most players contracts only expired 12 days ago and many out of contract players are on holiday. I think you're being a tad impatient.

Do you think these 'out of contract' players sat around waiting for their contracts to expire before speaking to their agent/clubs? Come on, you can't be that naive!!

I told you all weeks ago, we will sign players from the bottom of the last festering bargain bucket that everyone else
has rifled through about a week or possibly two before the season starts.
We always do it's the Brighton way !!!

So do you really believe that we as a club decide to leave it to the last minute before trying to sign anyone?

If my source at the club is to be believed, we were expecting to sign 2 players last week but even if that then happens next week, we will still have signed around the same number of as most of the other teams in the Championship and even if we don't we have still signed more than Reading.

The same Reading that are skint and have lost their chairman? I'm glad we are better than them IF we sign 2 players next week.

The fact your source said we 'wanted' to sign players and didn't has just completely proved the point of this whole thread!!...that the recruitment team are NOT as thorough and organised as they would like us to believe!
