Just far enough away from LDC
Latest update is that mother and baby are still doing fantastically well. We have a name now having spent 24 hours ensuring that it fitted his looks and personality:

We have chosen Edward Arthur. He will be known as Teddy.

We (awful to say) didn't really consider Bas for too long - although Jeremy almost came is as a long shot as that was the name of the anaesthetist who delivered the epidural with such great effect that Claire particularly will be very grateful for. Perhaps I should have mentioned this to Uncle Spielberg and he could have tipped it?

And yes, what has become perfectly clear over particularly the last few days is that much sense is spoken by people who have been through it before. Just by speaking to Roz on Thursday she 100% accurately predicted the birth to within an hour. Lets see if she can predict when Anne De Vecchi will finally realise that the game is up?

Claire and I have been really touched by all the goodwill messages on here. We know that the Albion is a family club and NSC is a very large part of that family. Granted like a part of the family that doesn't always get invited due to some unsavoury incident at a wediing 15 years ago - but a huge strong part nonetheless.

As for the season ticket thing - Mum was a season ticket holder so perhaps by proxy. Although he didn't get a West ham ticket. He does however like Michel Kuipers if only because he is keeping the jersey warm until he is old enough to take over. Go big on that Uncle S!
