Everyone of all ages were distraught when TGC pulled the plug on Albion Archives. Although I was heavily slated and gelt terribly guilty towards its extinsion, I felt someone had to bring back an alternative.
I did think about creating my own website, but I knew that this would also be easily found on the Internet, and could easily be stopped by big companies wanting to prevent the redistribution of their content.
So I have thoguht the best way to get around it is to create an e-mail subscription service, where people can forward videos on, like a chain letter.
Basically, if you want to recieve the highlights from Albion matches on the TV, than you subscribe to the email. This way no one will know about this (unless someone dobs me in) and the onyl way it will grow is by YOU. You need to pass it on in a discreet manner because this is still illegal content be redistributed.
I advice people, one you get the emil to donwload it to you computer and keep it. DO NOT host it straight on to Youtube or Google Video as this is blatant copying but if you covert them in to compilations or montages, then I see this as acceptale as long as you don't say it was me, or this email subscriptuion as the source.
This thread will be deleted once a majority of people have signed up, other than that you must either MSN or PM people the email as it must not be known publically on the Internet.
I know this will take a long time for you to forgive me for the removal of AA, but it is a start.
TGC, I would be utterly grateful if you could help me out in the beginning, as I still need to buy equipment to connect my DVD recorder my PC to the TV.
