someone on here mentioned a MUSEUM at the American Express Community Stadium. I didn't think much of it at the time, but now i'm obsessed with it

are there actual plans for this?

I think there were plans to have an Albion history type museum originally.

Im sure the Albion Historians club have lots of stuff to proudly display! :clap2:

Will they take the Albion stuff - a fine old Goldstone turnstile and Gordon Smith's Cup Final shirt - out of Brighton Museum and put it in there instead?

it'll be a bit like the one at the nou camp, but the trophy room will only have the Jewish Chronicle Cup from the 70's and a commerative cover from the 1910 Charity Shield win.

hoping there'll be some recognition for all the great fanzines over the years, though i doubt they'll frame the Gulls Eye with Bob Codner snorting gak in an Albion shirt.

i hope it's interactive, i want a wax Alan Mullery that shouts "You're not worth that Palace" when you walk past him.

i hear they have some of Peter Smiths dreads.

i hear they have macaroons in the shape of the east terrace.

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE IN THE MUSEUM AND COFFEE SHOP ALBIONITES?

Wearing my Huddersfield Town Shirt and holding the League division 1 ( when football was proper football) trophy three times in a row.

"Those were the days my friend we thought they'd never end
We won the league three times in row
we won the FA cup, and now we're going up
we are the Town
Oh yes we are the Town!"

Laa laaa la la laaaa la

I'd like to see some really, really old Albion shirts. And if they don't have some from a certain era, then replica ones, to see what they were like. I'd also like unsung true Albion heros - like the late Frank Howard, say - to be honoured: I'd like fine people like him to remembered not only for his untiring efforts for the club over the years but also as a very decent way of sticking it up Belloti and Archer who shafted him so badly.

I also want to see a display of torture implements that would have been used on certain previous owners should this club ever have gone to the wall
