Erm, maybe time for a free hearing test, both sets of subs were announced and placed on the big screens.

They most definitely were NOT announced just before kick off

It reminds me of that arch thing that those contestants used to appear and "tonight Matthew I'm going to be"............
Sh!t then and sh!t now.
It's so US of A.

Short version.

Simon is due to go on Stars in their eyes.
Has accident at work and losses both legs.
Favourite uncle dies at same time.
Pioneering operation - Simon gets uncles legs.
Fit again to make his appearance on the show.
"So, who are you going to be for us tonight Simon?"

" Tonight Matthew, I'm going to be... Simon and 'arfunkel."

I'll get me coat.

They were a little bit earlier in the proceedings, but l know what the poster means, just before kick off it was only the starting eleven that was read out, with names & pics on the big screens.

I think the Premier League arch thing does look abit 'corny' at the game in person, all rushed put together and taken down again, but TBH I think it looks alright on TV.

Who's talking about just before kick off, get to your seat earlier and you will get the teams and subs twice
That's what was being discussed (post 16)
