our MD (a man of substantial wealth) received a half-case of wine from a client and asked the chap organising our christmas party to use these at the party.

nothing wrong so far i hear you say.


BUT then he asked if we could send back six bottles that we had already ordered and get a refund

the MD at our company has just sold his house on St Georges Weybridge (Other residents include Elton John, Christ Tarrant, Cilla Black etc.) for £8 million.

yet he gets all his clothes at tesco, buys economy food, drives a second hand fiat multipla (although has a company pool car).

oh and btw his sallary is £750,000 + bonuses

Just heard this from our receptionist.... in confidence of course!

Our MD recieved a case of wine last week from our main subcontractor that was meant to be shared out around between the people who have worked with them over the year. Turns out he has taken the whole lot home for himself Appartantly he did the same last year as well!

Free meal, FREE BAR!!!!!!! till 1 am...anything you wanted, I kid you not, free band, free disco and money towards the accommodation bill.
