Is the correct answer. The trouble is that you normally need to ask three times before they will actually say what is wrong.

The good thing is though that you normally don't have to say much when they do spill the beans, just nod in the right places and maintain eye contact. Whatever you do, don't offer an opinion contrary to her opinion on it. She doesn't want that sort of advice.

Getting this right though can lead to good rewards

Women don't know what women want.
If they got what they wanted, they're like a child who got a new toy - on to wanting something else.
If you give them all the affection and attention - you are 'too nice' and they're looking for someone else. Give them flippant treatment and be unpredictable - and they go mental to try and 'tame' you.
Really, they are the same as animals in a field, so it's best to always have more than one so they stay on the ball, and toe the line.
