One thing for sure...you cannot SUPPORT two teams..you can support one team and follow another,ie; watch the other on telly, just how many of these people who wear Man U/Chelsea/Arsenal shirts have been to those grounds.I support Brighton but follow the reserves, development squad and Brighton Ladies,I was once offered a seat in the hospitality box at Wembley for a cup final but would'nt go because it was not Brighton.

Well, that's your opinion. Other people will beg to differ..
Why is it any of your concern who someone else supports?
On and if that FA Cup story is true, that's a tad pathetic in my opinion. Surely any real football fan would jump at the chance to go the FA Cup final?
Or maybe you didn't go because you just follow football and support Rugby. THAT'S NOT ALLOWED. BURN HIM.

So you're a Brighton fan rather than a 'football' fan? I've been to loads of games where I've been invited along but don't support the teams. I love football, whether Lewes at the Dripping Pan (great place to watch a game I might add), or Arsenal at the Emirates, I'll go along if asked, crikey I'll stop in the park if it looks a decent game! You're a mug for not taking hospitality at Wembley, great day out even if you're back is to the game for 90mins!

Sitting in my beautiful shiny new season ticket seat in the North Stand on Saturday, three young lads came and sat smack in front of me one wearing a Liverpool shirt and one wearing a Chelsea shirt and tracksuit top ! The other a crap stripey jumper which i can forgive (just)
Bugger off to Stamford Bridge or Anfield and let someone else who's a real Brighton fan have your seats (not that it was full admittedly) i do detest these " well Brighton are my second team" after Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd type of people.

Where were all these ticketless "real" fans during the shit years at withdean ?

PS Turning up at falmer with anything other than a brighton shirt is shit, in fact turning up at falmer with a replica shirt if you're over 15 is shit.

jesus christ, there are some seriously weird people on here. how wound up do you all get about IMPORTANT stuff? taking it to an extreme, you'd rather see an empty seat than a seat paid for and occupied by someone wearing the wrong shirt? ban other team's shirts? i'm glad you fools aren't making the decisions for the club...

ban other team's shirts?

I would.

As for the being a Brighton fan as opposed to a football fan arguement I'm defo the former. I have not watched MOTD for maybe a decade, I've not seen a Prem game on Sky for years. Football in general rarely interests me. I go to other grounds to see non-Albion games but the primary reason is to edge closer to the '92.'

I have other interests which occupy my time.
