I doubt the whole South East will be Tier 3. West Sussex is 141/149 local authorities in terms of infection rate.

Hopefully the club give priority to those that left their money in with the club :)

Or those that have held a season ticket for twenty + years?

Those that went to Gillingham?

Those that held one at Withdean?

Those that paid into the forty note fund?

Those that went on a march?

Those that went to Cardiff Play-Off?

Those that buy a replica shirt?

Those that always buy a programme?

Or just a ballot?

"We don’t yet know the exact criteria as to how tier thresholds will be evaluated, but the Premier League has been advised it appears unlikely that any of England’s major urban areas will have infection rates low enough to qualify immediately for tier 1 status."

Is Brighton a "major urban area"?

- they will need to do further test/ramp up events
- areas will need to be in tier 1 or tier 2
- there might be issues about travelling from a tier 3 area to a tier 1.
- EPL might kick back about the current restrictions of < 4000 attendance.

that said Brighton are more advanced in prep/planning than most.
My guess - nothing before January at earliest.

The current lockdown was largely politically motivated; it was easier to shut down the whole of England rather than continue to argue the toss with the northern mayors (Burnham etc). Wouldn't surprise me at all if London, Southampton and Brighton get lumped into a higher tier than the numbers justify, to placate the rest. Call me cynical.

The Southampton game kick off time is not confirmed yet so it might be tricky for people to commit to that game?

I was just checking to see if it was definitely on the Sat 15.00. Hopefully it will be confirmed soon as getting a shift off at such short notice is going to be difficult

At the moment, I'm more worried about being able to get to Yorkshire for my mother in laws funeral, where I'm not even allowed to sit next to my own husband in the crematorium, have to stay in a hotel overnight, with room service only, instead of relatives, and can't even go for a coffee with his brother and sister after the service.

Football and the Amex are very far from my mind.

Sorry for the rant.

And naturally so .....which would be relevant to you irrespective of what is happening in football....

Huddersfield Town owner was just on TalkSport saying he commended fans who did not claim season ticket refunds and they will be prioritised when they get fans back. In fact if they took a refund they won't see any football this season
