Maybe the government shouldn't leak everything?

completely agree, all through the Pandemic its been the same. Days in advance of any announcement its all been leaked and published. Dreadful really. I would much reather just have the official announcement,

Start the matches in the 85th minute. That way anyone who wants a ticket will get one.

Would have thought S/Tcks and home fans only at first ?

You'd think so - probably just STHs, because they'll still be plenty who can't get in. With STHs they can probably make sure it's just local fans, to minimise travel. Certainly no away fans, I'd have thought.

I really can't see Brighton being into tier 2 or 3, considering we've not even hit the 200 cases per 100,000 barrier once in the second wave, compared to pretty much every other city in the country bar Norwich having been over 200 cases per 100,000 in this second wave.

Half arsed lunacy. 4000 people in Old Trafford is as safe as 4000 people at Bournemouth? Some teams will have the advantage of supporters whilst others don't?
As stated earlier in thread max capacity depends on what tier you're in

Tier 1- 4k
Tier 2 - 2k
Tier 3 - nada

The club have already announced how the tickets will be allocated. Its a draw pure and simple. No "fair" way of doing this, someone is always going to upset at how its done.

And how does that contradict anything I said?

So it'll take 6 games for all season ticket holders to get to a game.

I'll be climbing for walls if game 6.

It's a start. We'll have to see what actually happens though. 4,000 spread across the Amex would be perfectly safe in my view

Since you're without a doubt the best fan on here I suspect they'll have warmed your balls, so to speak.

This. 2k East Lower / Upper and the same on the West. Proved we could manage that with the Chelsea game.

I hope this doesn't mean an end to airing games on TV given the vast majority of fans will still be blocked from attending, should stay in place until the restrictions are entirely lifted IMHO

Definitely. But surely you make it a percentage across the board? As I said, how is 4000 people at Bournemouth as safe as 4000 people at Old Trafford? Over a third capacity at one ground against 5% at another. It will make little, if any money for the clubs as there will be so many matchday staff needed that it will wipe out most of the income.
