Kemp Town, where he previously lived, is local.

New York, on the other hand, is about 3,000 miles away. So not really that local.

Steve Ellis, lead singer of sixties combo Love Affair (of "Everlasting Love" fame) lives in Brighton. I've got a feeling it is possibly Portslade/Hangleton area as I sometimes saw him in Boundary Road, Hove always wearing a green flak jacket. Never saw him without it.

All I know is he went to school in Lewes with another NSC poster of my acquaintance, and is a proper Albion supporter. Used to chat with him when we were exiled in Gillingam. Only found out about the Camberwell Carrott later. Haven't spoken to him in years.
