Hello,

I know there a couple other threads regarding your tremendous support for PAFC in these dark days of administration. After reading about your numerous ideas to help us out it almost brought a tear to my eye, if you ever came down to Home Park again I'm sure the crowd would give a standing ovation. Your generosity and touching gestures have persuaded me to label Brighton as a second team who I'll follow and enjoy watching playing Premier League football next year :D

Spread the word like your doing and hopefully the 24th will result in a huge success with some more recognition of Argyle's situation and a victory over Leeds!!!

Fergeee I cannot make the 24th but I will be there in spirit, I wish PAFC nothing but the best in their struggle. The guys on here really know their stuff and I feel proud to be a Brighton fan, when I see how we are helping you in your time of need. I shall do my best to attend any future events if it helps.

Good point.

So what are the ways that fans can be a contribution to the campaign if, say, they can't be there on the 24th?

we need to get a just giving page set up and present a cheque

Hard enough to achieve what we have already committed ourselves to...."Go Green" and "Fans Re-United"

Setting financial targets would be very tough and this really is about much more than money and as such is much more important.
We could collect for years and it is pissing in the wind against Plymouth's financial woes and where would the money go anyway? Getting the attention of the wider football community for Argyle's plight is what will force the money men to come up with solutions which will hopefully keep the club alive for their supporters.

Of course we do now have to deliver on what we have started.

its all good they have a thing called the green taverners which is a fund set up directly by the fans trust? (i think) which is helping directly pay the staff and players at PAFC. Im sure if anyone wants to donate moneys that is the place to do it.

as chairman of the albion supporters club myself and vic chair liz costa will be going to show our support at home park on 24th its the least we can do

Thank you. Will there be a supporters club coach going do you know?

Many thanks to everyone for getting this going. I don't think I'm an instigated, more just someone that voiced an idea. Everyone else's hard work has great the event it is now.

Also, respect to the Argyle players. Am I right in thinking that they continued to play without wages, to keep the club going?
I live near Wrexham and their players refused to play 2 pre season matches when their wages were late being paid by a week.

The really annoying thing for Plymouth fans is that the administrators are paying themselves out of the money that is going into the club.

I think if we donate any money we need to really make sure it goes into the fan's fund and not into the administrators pot.
