Incredible news. After a 5 hour op last Thurs (during which his breast bone had to be broken) and 4 days' recuperation Paul is already HOME. Surgeon says he has rarely seen anyone recover so quickly. Going to see him tomorrow. He's talking about coming to the game on Sat! Bloody hell!

I would expect nothing less, he is a god.

Marvellous.
Don't rush back and undo the work though.

Paul, you've shown such determination and grit over the years so why would a little thing like major surgery be a problem?

Well done and don't rush the comeback. At least, the way we are playing now, watching Albion should not come with a health risk!

Was only wondering about our fan of the year earlier today and just logged on to check if there was an update. So delighted to hear this, even though I've never met him, I'm pleased as punch to hear one of life's good guys is on the mend. A better ambassador for our club I cannot think of

All the best Paul - from yet another stranger!

What music are you planning for him Attila?

Rod Stewart - "You're in my Heart"
Celine Dion - "My Heart will go on"
Al Green- "How can you mend a broken Heart"
Phil Collins - "Two Hearts"
Janis Joplin - "Piece of my Heart"
Gene Pitney - "Something's Gotten Hold of my Heart"
Connie Francis - "My Heart has a mind of its own"
Madonna - "Open Your Heart"

and possibly the only one you'll have in your collection, and the most appropriate

Fergal Sharkey - A Good Heart

Welcome back Paul. I'll be in the pub, so I'll miss the music, but will raise a glass or two to you
