I think she would be quite happy if we quickly recommissioned the first one - surely that would be much quicker (and cheaper too)?

A lot more tasteful too.

In all seriousness, I think even the queen would baulk at the prospect of spunking gazzillions on a gin palace during times like these

Especially as she has a shit load of them already

A thank you card for her dedication to this country and one way economy ticket for her and her family to Bariloche, Argentina

I’m not sure we have enough warships to provide an escort for any new Royal Yacht.

Only 19 in total Destroyers and Frigates left, unless they outsourced it to Sealink.

Hmmmm, didn’t really look like it being viable when I went on it a few years ago. Still, if she kept the tea room going she could make a buck or two from her visitors.

I'm not a Royalist by any measure, but this woman has done so much for this country she should be respected. She's brokered goodwill worldwide, been a large part of making London a Tourist Destination, and she's given stability to a figurehead bunch of Twunts.

I wouldn't say buy her a Yacht, but what about kicking Branson off Necker and giving it Her Maj for some quiet time in her retirement?

Royalty pedant alert! It’s HM, as in Her Majesty, not HRH (Her Royal Highness) which is not quite as grand in the pecking order. So it’s orf with your head for you guilty ones. punish:
