Palace's catchment area is as big if not bigger than Brighton's

He's finally lost it.

Unfortunately, with cockneys moving down to Brighton, we have an unfortunate number of spurs, arsenal and Chelsea in the midst; we must ensure that they bring their kids up as Brighton fans.

Contrary to what I have just said. I will do my damnest to ensure my little ones support the Albion and not Arsenal or West Ham, despite the fact that everyone else in my area have these allegiances :clap2:

My dept is blue and white as I'm the only football supporter in the whole dept.

Oh and our little one will double the Brighton fanclub in Bishops Stortford when she/he is born

This has been one of the most interesting threads for a long time. Shame it ended up as a "our club is bigger than yours....".
I think the earlier posts summed things up perfectly, and I sincerely hope that the "smaller" clubs, and I include the Albion in that category as opposed to the Chelseas and Arsenals, do force a change in the struggle against power and greed which is prevalent amongst the "top" half a dozen in the premiership.
Maybe the result for Wrexham might get a few "investors" having second thoughts.

Sorry to put a bit of a dampener on the big club-big draw issue, but I think that in many ways Palace's relegation was their own fault rather than their being outclassed. Much as I hate to say it, if they had won their home match against Arsenal, they might well have got a run going and stayed up quite comfortably. From what I can remember, they walked over Arsenal, and only failed to beat them because their midfielder (can't remember the name, perhaps AJLM can) put a sitter over the bar from two yards. I realised from that game that Arsenal were not going to hold on to their title.
