Any explanation as to how we are the most expensive in the league, are about the average in terms of player wages but still managing to make an 8 million pound loss and what the club are going to do about it aside from making already the most expensive club more expensive. And their thoughts on how this will impact on ST and match day ticket sales. If we are still in the same league next year and it gets more expensive how are they going to continue to attract the same crowds.

Did he mention how many tickets Crystal Payless would be allocated and are they having to pay cash in advance for them ?

He did. He said we basically give them the same as what we had. It's how they do it with Palace.

An interesting fact that I took from the meeting is that part of the development of the North West corner will be set aside for the use of School/youth group visitors which will be self contained with its own concourse. Invites will be sent to schools etc. to introduce youngsters to the delights of attending live games at the Amex with the aim of continuing to widen the fan base further. Increasing the fan base is very much a favourite topic because of the need to achieve parity under FFP.

I doubt many knew that little corner had its own concourse (with food i think)! That's amazing. He was calling it 'the shelf' I believe. Hopefully we follow this through and invite kids from the schools to ocme along!

Nice to know they'll only be getting 2,600 tickets and we'll being getting the money up front instead of a promise the cheque is in the post.

Ive got the feeling that the transport levey rise is only going to effect season ticket holders next year as indivdual tickets went up by £4 last year. That way it will bridge the gap alittle between paying as you go and a season ticket. So instead of 7 'free' games as Barber calls it, in effect it will only be 4 or 5 next season.
Club needs to be careful if this is the case as with games always being moved as it might be worth just picking games especially with the new catergory system as some of the higher profile games might be on tele.

With the matchday prices being categorised I would say the Cat C games will still be £28 for the cheapest seats , £30 for Cat B and £35 for Cat A

So despite everyone clammering for the park and ride situation to be Raised, no one asked? Missed opportunity sounds like to me. Ow well, club never got it sorted in 11 years at withdean so why would they listen now?!

The club always give the impression that everything regarding the park and rides is working fine and that, frankly, once they've got your money they don't give a damn!

I don't use P&R but could you explain the problem to me? Is it simply that that take too long or are there a lot of cancellations and stuff?

Well its all guess work at the minute, but the point im getting at is at the minute over the course of the season im saving over £200 by having a season ticket rather than paying game by game basis for my seat. If they push up the transport levey only on season tickets and it works out only a saving of say £100 once all the categorsed games are worked out then some people might question if its worth having a season ticket with so many games being moved about due to one reason or another.

I couldn't hog the floor plus everyone in the room travels on our coach so it wasn't top of most people's list as they don't use it. Sorry mate.

If it means that much to you, why haven't you gone along to one of the MANY meeting of supporters groups that Barber has been to?

All of them have been publicised on here.
