I think if you read the recent blog interview with PB he alludes heavily to the reorganising/restructuring (i.e. redundancies) that go hand-in-hand with reducing costs so I think this is not just a strong rumour, but inevitable.

I don't have any contacts at the club, but I do know that cats are fluffy.

Not always!

we were making love by Wednesday
and on Thursday & Friday & Saturday we chilled on Sunday
I met this girl on Monday

Vicente is not going to be playing another game in England.

I don't need any sources to know that.

How is this thread allowed to remain open? Seems to be pure speculation to me.

The restructuring will be stadium staff. At least 10% will be moved on.

Vicente and his family have already gone back to Spain haven't they? I'd have thought that if he had any intention of re-signing under a new boss, then he'd stick around in Brighton until the school holidays at least.

wow, id be amazed if a company told their employees a week in advance to attend a meeting for "re-structuring" considering what everyone know this means. normally, its at a convened meeting that the restructuring is announced. but not as surprised as i'd be if Vicente continued to have any part to play with our club. so, same old rumour mill rubbish then isnt?

I've been at a company where we were told several days in advance. It's not that unusual

I have a contact at the club, a friend of the Blooms no less.

I know nothing.

This - I also know someone who works at the club and they all have been told they are not allowed to discuss anything. That runs from AITC volunteers right upto board level.

If people are saying anything then it's likely to be made up.

I on the other hand do have contacts at the club and can reveal that everyone is being sacked and reemployed on contracts based on people being paid in Pringles and hard boiled eggs!

Talking about speculation though, I speculate that in the next six weeks, it will all be sorted out and there will be some new members of staff, some original members of staff staying on and some members of staff, who are both new and original and walk around all day in flip flops and Hawaiian shirts saying wibble

We don't have any caterers and the City College kids have left. Perhaps Barber doubles up as a short order cook.

He might buy some frozen vol-au-vents from Iceland on the way into work. I just hope he allows enough time for them to defrost. A mid-meeting buffet with finger food at the wrong temperature could ruin the atmosphere.
